Internet radio service Pandora is one step closer to going public, after filing papers that indicate share prices for its proposed initial public offering yesterday.
The company is offering just over 5 million shares, priced between $7 and $9 per share. Existing shareholders will also be offering 8.7 million shares. Combined, Pandora hopes to raise almost $142 million.

He says businesses need to approach online media like they would a cocktail party, and that it’s better to take notes and learn from what other people are saying than to “go in screaming, drinking, and trying to enter everyone’s conversation.”
College faculty are more social in their work habits than employees in other industries according to data in this infographic from a Babson Survey Research Group and Pearson social media survey. Usage penetration of social media among college faculty [91%] for work purposes is nearly two times that of employees in other industries [47%].
